I have 31, yes 31, little kids who are five years old and so very curious about the adult world. They are focused learners when they need to be but they are also children. Children who love to act out, create, and play! They have set up their own world in our small and vacant little dramatic play area, they use crayons and rulers to make food and play "house". While I think this is super creative, I would like to give them a real playing space. Children need to move and create to learn about their world. They have so much fun learning this way and it is awesome to watch them. They have created families, jobs where they write and use their number sense to solve "work' problems, just like mom and dad. It's pretty great to see them doing this! Having Thier own space will make Thier learning more real and more fun for them.
