My students are 5 and 6 years old attending a half day session (three hours) of kindergarten five days a week. I have students that have been to preschool and students who have never been in a school setting before. I need to capture the attention of those students who have not been in a school setting before. Throughout my teaching career, I have noticed that those students are drawn to computers, television, and the overhead projector... their attention is captured and they love to participate!
