My rocking 3rd graders come from all over the world with different interests and most of all varying reading levels. But, they all have one thing in common: the desire to succeed. Most of my students come from low-income families, many military parents, and single family parents. Almost half of the students are free-reduced lunch, but sadly we did not qualify for extra funding. Our school is struggling to meet the needs of ALL students and teachers our working harder each year to make up for the lack of curriculum, funds and most of all time.
