My students are in need of a large classroom rug that will allow them to be safely seated on the floor for calendar, read alouds, and classroom meetings. Sitting on a cold, uncushioned floor is never appealing, but a brightly colored rainbow rug will appeal to my young learners! A large rug will also expand our limited space by making the floor a viable option for working on assignments and projects. There are many occasions when a desk top or table just won't do! From science experiments, to Maker activities, to building leprechaun traps or doing a Go Noodle dance, the classroom rug is an essential item that will be used daily.
