I teach Art to grades 7-8 in a low income, Title I School District. The majority of my student population are English Language Learners. Most of my kids have had little or no art experiences outside of the art room. It is an incredible opportunity to expose children to the exciting and diverse world of art. I encourage my students to think outside the box, take risks, and self reflect.
