  • Gimme a 5! Books Needed for AP Government Class

    Thank you so much for your generous contributions to purchasing the AP exam study books for my AP Government classes. My students were able to check these books out from me this year and use them to prepare for the exam last Monday. One student in particular, Yasmina, asked me if she could hold on to the book for another week as she is enjoying how much additional information it provides on various government topics.

  • AP Psychology Class Needs Books!

    I am writing to express my gratitude for your generous donations to my classroom's request for the books 40 Studies That Changed Psychology. These books have been invaluable in my AP Psychology students' understanding of the development of psychology over time. As they prepare for the AP Psychology exam in May of this year, they have had the chance to check these books out for their own study at home.

    Several students have requested the opportunity to use these books in extra credit projects in which they examine one of the studies, prepare an analytical essay, and then present their findings to the class. I have had several parents contact me to express their appreciation for the increased interest their students are having in this course because of these books.

  • Brand New Debate Team Needs Help!!

    Thank you so much for your kind donation to our new debate team! We have already competed in several tournaments this year, but have not been adequately prepared due to our inability to purchase these items. As stated before, my students are from a lower socioeconomic status, but these items will level the playing field for them. Although we have not been as well equipped as some teams, my team has won several matches. They are very much looking forward to having the opportunity to use these new materials and knowing that they are just as prepared as everyone else. Thank you again”
