My students are a dedicated group of 14-17 year old students who put in over 120 hours in just six weeks to build a robot for a competition. These students are all motivated young scholars who are focused on their grades as well as their extracurricular activities. My students attend a school with over 2000 students and with our team coming from such a large school being made up of only 25 students, we are considered a club and do not receive a great deal of support from our school financially. Though our school does the best it can, building a robot requires a great deal of monetary support. My students fundraise all the money that supports our team through the building of the robot as well as money for them to attend the competitions for three days that are usually a fair distance from our home town in Tennessee.
Please help these kids who work so hard.
