Funded Jul 24, 2024Thank you for donating these items to our classroom! My students absolutely love our bean bag and self regulating resources in our calming corner. My students are overcoming many challenges and this safe calming space in our classroom has provided a safe haven for them to calm their bodies down so that they can be ready to learn and thrive in third grade.
My students have also truly enjoyed using the art supplies such as the class set of markers and water color paints during our art lessons. Art is an amazing way that my students can express themselves in an engaging and creative way.

Help, I Need Someone!
Funded Oct 22, 2013Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. When I announced to my students that our class had been chosen for the grant, they were thrilled. When the materials were delivered to our class, my students were so excited and eager to use the center activities. My students were so appreciative for the donation that they established class rules on how to take care of all of our new center activities. Some of my students said, "Chevron and the Anonymous Donor have such a good heart!"
Everyday during Universal Access Time my students use the centers to enhance specific skills that their group needs to focus on. My students have never been more excited to do Universal Access Time. Once the 25 minutes are up, students say that time goes by too fast during Universal Access Time. I love these center activities because they enhance my students academic skills in a fun and educational way.
I feel that these centers have truly helped my students strengthen skills such as word building, reading comprehension, and context clues. Thank you again for your generous donation. God Bless!”

Mrs. Maciel
