I teach at a Title I school where 83% of our students are come from low income families. Many of them do not have the means to buy Legos at home. I believe that Legos help foster imagination and creativity in a very unique way. Also, most of our student's parents work after school, so this Lego Club would provide students with a fun opportunity to continue their learning while their parents are at work.
