  • Magne-tiles For Every Theme!

    Funded May 8, 2024

I just wanted to thank you for donating to my project. My students really never noticed when we changed themes in the room because it was only books and a couple of toys. Now with the Magna-tiles now they are paying attention to it a lot more. They get really excited to see what toys are going to come out for the unit. This work station was already a favorite in my class but now the kids are counting down until it is their turn to use the resources. The kids are so happy and I really appreciate the resources.”

  • Small Technology for Small Hands Needed!

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

I wanted to thank you for funding this project. My kids were so excited when I told them that we were getting MP3 players in the music workstation. They did not even really know what they were but when I told them that they would be able to listen to all the music I put in class they were so thrilled. The new headphones are so colorful and the small MP3 player is a perfect size for my kids little hands, They love dancing around and singing the songs. The buttons are large enough for them to use. Even my quiet students are letting loose with these players. Thank you so much for your support.”

  • Let's Fill The Treasure Box in PK

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

I wanted to thank you for making my kid's entire school year. We were able to fill the treasure box for the entire school year. My kids on every holiday received goodie bags and gifts. I was able to offer incentives throughout the year for doing well in class, on projects and at various family events. The children were so happy when I told them we were funded. The kids were super excited when all the boxes showed up. Every time I opened a box they were asking when will we get those prizes. They were looking for ways to win the prizes.”

  • Color Printer Needed in PK

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation. All of the materials donated have been put to fantastic use. In early childhood classrooms, we have to use pictures for everything. The sticker paper and photo paper helped organize all of the classroom. My kids know where to put their backpacks away, how to pass out the lunch cards and folders on their own because of the pictures on their materials. The printer and materials has changed the dynamic of the whole room. Thank you for your donation, my kids and I really appreciate it!”

  • Dry Erase Drama in PK

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

I cannot thank you enough for your donation. We use the donated materials on a daily basis. My students practice their name and respond to text through drawing everyday. My kids were so excited to hear that we were getting more markers and they were especially happy to hear about the new boards. Our old ones were pretty messed up and the new ones made them so happy. These materials have changed our workstations and classwork. My students and I appreciate your donation and support. We use them everyday and I cannot believe we have them because of someone's generosity.”

  • Kid Size Headphones Needed!

    Funded Jan 7, 2022

You cannot imagine how wonderful it has been to have headphones that fit my kids. We can now use all the technology in the room because we have plenty of headphones. The headphones are a perfect size and do not fall off their little heads. The kids also appreciate the colors and the variety. The parents love having access to the earbuds at home. They really love the fact that someone took the time and effort to donate for their children to have the materials they need t school and at home. You funding is very much appreciated!!!!!”

  • Cute Masks for Cute Kids!

    Funded Mar 4, 2022

Thank you so much for funding this project. Not only are you protecting my kids but also making a bad situation (the pandemic) really fun. My kids loved the gel holders and now think it is so fun to put on sanitizer. We are using the masks on a daily basis and during special occasions we use class sets. When the butterflies were born we wore our butterfly masks. On the first day of Spring we wore our flower masks. The kids look forward to wearing their special masks. This project has made it easier for my kids to eat during lunch and breakfast because the lanyards let their mask rest around their neck instead of losing it. We really appreciate your support!!!”

  • Table For Success!

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

When my kids heard that we got this project funded they were so happy. In a world were kids are constantly being told not to write on walls, furniture, etc, etc now they had permission to write on a table. My kids could not believe that we were going to be sent a table that they would be able to write on. The are so happy! The kids are now begging to go to the writing station. They love the plastic writing sleeves throughout the room and the new prizes in the treasure box for a job well done are making it very easy for them to try their best. Thank you so much for making this possible. My kids are excited everyday to go to workstations.”

  • Spanish Books and Classroom Posters for Instruction.

    Funded Aug 13, 2020

My students really enjoyed the new books purchased with this project. Covid affected how we did things last school year so my kids did not get the same experience as most kids would get in a regular school year but these books made a huge difference. Usually Library is not a class favorite but these books made it special. They loved and wanted to go to this workstation because the books in library were the same as the books was reading to them during circle time.

Thank you so much for funding this project and giving my students access to a variety of good books to read and enjoy!”

  • We Need Books For Our Workstations!

    Funded Jun 25, 2020

I just wanted to thank you all again for helping to fund this project. It is so hard to fin good quality Spanish books and to have so many at our disposal for read aloud, for small group instruction, and to place in our class library has made a huge impact in my class. My children absolutely love the alphabet books and I use them daily for instruction. The are so easy to read that my four year olds are going around saying they can read. It is absolutely precious and you all made that possible. Than you for your support!!”

I have 50 wonderful boys and girls in my class. I have the best dual language learners in my class. They are a group of energetic and very inquisitive Texans. We were recently hit hard by Harvey and relocated for half of the school year to another school in order to rebuild our schol. We are home this school year but still in the process of recovery. We are at an elementary school that serves over 600+ PK through 5th grade students. We have a 91% free and reduced lunch rate and are a Title I school. When I surveyed my parents many of them do not have desktops at home and the ones who do have one do not allow my students to use them.
