  • New Year, New Supplies!

    Funded Aug 4, 2023

Thank you so much for helping supply our classroom with supplies for the new school year! With the town budget approval coming down to the last minute, I am grateful I was able to use your donation to start the year off with proper supplies for the room.

The students love using the colorful rug during meeting time and laying on it during independent reading. We are especially grateful to have pencils, crayons and pencil pouches at our fingertips to help us get right to work through out the day!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Flexible Seating

    Funded May 11, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation towards our new flexible seating choices! The students were so excited when they HUGE boxes arrived last week! I tried to keep the element of surprise for as long as I could, but the suspense was too great!

The stools are amazing. They are fully adjustable, so all students, no matter their height, can access these stools when needed. They rock and swivel, but stay in one area as the students work.

The cushions are great additions as students work around the room on the rug. Students were so excited to try all the options this week.

Thank you so much for helping us!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Indoor Recess

    Funded May 4, 2023

Thank you so much for helping fund "Indoor Recess"! Our students were so excited to see 3 huge Amazon boxes delivered to the classroom last week, and when I told them the contents of those boxes were for them, they were even more excited!

I have had many of our indoor recess toys for many years, through previous donations, toys my own children have outgrown, or games that I purchased with my own money in hopes they would last. But after more than 5 years, boxes are torn, pieces are lost, and they have lost their shine.

These new games will help students work together and build some team-bonding moments. They will need to work cooperatively and use interpersonal skills in order to play with one another, something that is hard for some.

Thank you so much for helping our classroom love to play again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Tools for Organization

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to Tools for Organization!

We are using the resources daily, such as the magnets, erasers, and clipboards. The magnets are great, as students are able to display their work on an otherwise unused chalkboard in the back. We use the clipboards for group work around the room, and the erasers are kept in their desks.

The mobile laptop storage organizer has been great, as it stays in the front and houses all my teacher materials for the day. I no longer am losing items and prolonging a lesson!

The students were very thankful by all the supplies. Coming off from a year of remote learning, they were very happy to receive new supplies and be in the classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Skeletons for Students

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

Wow, thank you so much for donating to our classroom! I cannot wait to see the students and their expressions when they walk in one morning to a skeleton in the classroom! We have been learning so much about the seven systems of the body and this will enhance our learning so much more!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Events Leading to the American Revolution

    Funded Feb 13, 2020

Thank you so much for donating to the Events Leading to the American Revolution. We were able to use some of the books before the shut down of schools due to Covid. However, because they are hard copies and not digital, I can use these books in the future for when we return to "normal".

I can't wait to use them in small groups and pair the students up to research their event for the American Revolution. These books will be great. My girls and boys in the classroom have been excited to use these books, not just the students who love history.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Digital Gift Card

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation to Digital Gift Cards for Teachers Pay Teachers! Through Remote Learning this school year, I can't thank you enough for the help that this gift card has done. There were so many more materials I wanted to use in the past, but they were so expensive. However, with this card, I was able to purchase them and now can have the file for years to come!

Students loved the digital math mysteries the best. They were able to work in Breakout Rooms with their peers and solve the mysteries! I would never have been able to create these products on my own in such an engaging and creative way. So thank you!”

  • Brain Bins

    Funded Oct 2, 2019

Thank you so much for your donation to Brain Bins! Students were SO excited to receive these bins; they couldn't stop talking about them. The materials arrived in separate boxes and I wouldn't allow us to open them until all packages arrived. The suspense was too much for some students!

When we finally opened them, students were in awe at the amount of projects. They are especially interested in the items in which they could build structures. Some looked to use the creation guides, while other students enjoy creating their own structures, using their imaginations. Every day, students kept asking to use them. The suspense kept building more and more because I wanted to use the clear plastic bins that we were able to receive with the donation, and organize the activities.

We have been using these Bins each morning this week. Students are able to finish any work from the previous day and then relax and create with the bins. Students are using communication skills with their peers, which is a plus! Thank you so much for helping us create and activate our brains early in the morning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart

  • Technology in the Classroom

    Funded Mar 1, 2019

Thank you very much for your donation to our new Samsung Tablets! We are most appreciative for your help so that we may access and use technology in our classroom.

When we first received the tablets, students were extremely excited to use them! They are a great addition to the Chromebooks that we have already in the room. These tablets have been able to double the amount of students on technology at a time, which has been a real time saver.

We have been able to utilize RAZ-kids, which is an online reading tool that levels students to their individual reading levels. Students have been able to read at independent reading levels during group times. Students have also been able to use the tablets for our Animal Research projects. This has been especially helpful during MCAs testing time, because the school's Chromebooks have been unavailable.

We cannot thank you enough for you support to our classroom! Thank you!”

  • Balance Balls Bundle

    Funded May 10, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting our Balance Balls project! We have been able to utilize them around the classroom, both during whole group lessons and during independent work time! Some of our students found that the balls really helped them focus on their work/tasks throughout the day. Other students realized that the balls are more of a distraction and have chosen not to use them during the day. All students have had the opportunity to try them out for the day.

The Bundle allowed us to get more than enough Balls to rotate through students throughout the week. We have used only 3 so far, but I am currently in the process of inflating the rest so I can help more students focus throughout the day.

    THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stewart
