The students that would be receiving these periodicals are third graders that attend a school that is Title 1 funded. The majority of our campus is on free and reduced lunch. Approximately 110 students would receive the benefit of this funding project. Our students also enjoy reading high-interest, relevant nonfiction topics. Most recently they studied an article regarding the use of a popular Mind Craft Game. Having a topic that they are interested in allows for engaging learning to occur.
