Members of the Art Club are urban public high school students. Our school is a pilot school focused on leadership and community service, and students would like to work to combine arts and leadership to make the world a better place. We currently have no art classes available to students, but the artistic talent and desire abounds. Students are change-makers, and art is a powerful vehicle for change in our world. Funding this club will be a huge step toward empowering our young people to be creative, confident problem-solvers and participate in arts-based civics and social justice endeavors.
