As a community school, we work to provide programs and resources that will meet the needs of our students and families. Over the past year, some of the most necessary items are things many take for granted like personal hygiene products such as deodorant, soap, a toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as underwear. It has also become more and more evident that as a school, we must provide more flexible seating options and sensory tools to help support student achievement and their social and emotional well being. The ball chairs and the therapy putty will be provided for each classroom. Another need in our school is translators, therefore the portable translator devices will support families immediately when communicating with school faculty and staff.
