  • Learning About Our World!

    Funded Jul 14, 2025

Wow, thank you so much for your generous donation. I appreciate your support. I am thrilled to share this valuable non-fiction resource with my new students next school year.

Scholastic News is a wonderful weekly publication that gives students insight to events and wonders from all over the world!

Thank you again for supporting public schools in California! You are a star!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Foster

  • SOS - Art Supplies Needed!

    Funded Jun 5, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I am teaching summer school and my students love these new materials. The Kwik Stix are definitely a favorite! They love them!

The set up of this summer school is that I am teaching all the 2nd and 3rd graders art weekly, so over 50 students will be using these supplies over the summer. The canvases are perfect too. I can't wait to use them for a special end of summer school project.

I don't get a ton of money to spend of "fun" things. This project is full of "fun" materials!

Thank you so much for supporting public schools in California!

    You are a star!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Foster

  • Filling Our New Book Vending Machine

    Funded Jun 4, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I can't wait to fill up our brand new book vending machine! We will be receiving it in the fall. I know that all students will be thrilled to earn a book through great behavior, attendance, improved reading scores, great math tests, birthdays and more.

We plan to fill up the Inchy Book Vending Machine with a variety of books, including graphic novels, chapter books, and picture books. There will be a range of reading levels included in the vending machine. We are thrilled to fill it up and have books for our students to take home to read and share with their families.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Foster

  • Hands-On Materials To Start Our Morning!

    Funded May 29, 2025

I just received the materials today, and my students were so excited. And, to be honest, they were a little bummed too. They were disappointed that there are only three days left of school, and three days left to use the awesome new morning STEM materials for our soft start mornings.

I had a couple of students ask where I got the Pixel Art Challenge Math Puzzles because they wanted to tell their parents. They loved doing them.

Both of the new centers were a hit today. Thank you again for supporting my classroom.

I don't have the school funds to buy them for my classroom myself. I appreciate you supporting education and hands-on learning.”

  • Library Refresh!

    Funded May 9, 2025

To say our school librarian, Ms. Linda, was thrilled when we delivered the variety of books would be an understatement. We headed to the library this morning with stacks of books in my students' hands to give to her. My students were so excited to see all the great new titles that will soon be on the shelves of the library. They have already asked Ms. Linda if our class can check them out first!

When COVID hit in March 2020, our school shut down. All library books that were checked out have been marked as "lost", and students are not required to return them. We lost a lot of books. And, of course, most of the graphic novels were not returned.

You have helped to stock our shelves again.”

    Mrs. Foster

  • End of Year Gift!

    Funded May 6, 2025

My students LOVE doing Hidden Pictures from Highlights magazines. When we are learning an extra hard concept, I will put a Hidden Picture on the back of the worksheet. My kids love getting out their special highlighters and moving their chairs to work on them with their classmates.

The Hidden Pictures help to build a sense of community in my classroom. I love it!

With your help, every student in my class will receive their own Hidden Pictures book. I know that this might be the most exciting thing for all of them! I am confident in the "hoorays" that will be exclaimed! This is a perfect end of year surprise.

Thank you so much for helping public schools in California. I appreciate you.”

I have been teaching at the same wonderful school for the past 24 years. My students and their families work very hard for what they have. Most of my students receive free lunch, come from single parent homes, and have parents who work more than one job. We are in need of the basics at our school. Every donation, regardless of the amount, help my students to succeed. Thank you!
