  • Safe Classroom

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

Thank you so much for the continued support of our classroom. This project was able to give me and my students peace of mind on a daily basis that the teacher would not be falling out of her chair and being injured during small group time. I was also able to give my students new colored pencils to use in the classroom as well as card stock needed to complete projects such as poetry cards for our 5th grade pen pals.

The incentive stickers were a big hit with boosting grades on our weekly spelling tests. Students are buzzing with excitement over their new classroom goodies thanks to you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • New School, New Needs

    Funded Jan 15, 2025

My students were so excited when we received the goodies from this project. We had been saving some of their work to display on our walls in the hallway. After receiving the special putty needed to hang up their projects the students were beaming with pride. Students also loved creating their very own compli-mats (placemats filled with compliments from their classmates) that were laminated and sent home for them to always remember that they have important qualities! Without your generosity my students would not have been able to experience the pride in their accomplishments as readily.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • Fresh and Clean

    Funded Sep 28, 2023

I would like to thank you very much for allowing my students the opportunity to have a fresh and clean environment to carry out their daily activities. A lot of time in 2nd grade is spent on the floor, whether it be in math or reading stations, reading books in our library or meeting in groups with teachers. Having a nice, clean floor makes all of these activities more enjoyable!

Students seem to always want to be on the floor as opposed to seated at a desk. Having a clean floor allows them this opportunity without the worries of sitting in dust or dirt. I really do not have a problem with them being on the floor during groups and stations as long as learning is taking place. Thank you for helping make our classrooms more inviting for students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • Colorful Math

    Funded Sep 12, 2023

First and foremost I would like to thank you all very much for your generous donation to our project! My students were so excited when the new paper for their math journals arrived. They eagerly anticipate each and every day what color their journal page will be for the day. Giving students the bright colors for their math journals makes my job, as a teacher, easier because the students are excited about completing their journal pages and their work.

The lamination has allowed me to introduce new math stations which get students actively involved in their own learning. Students ask daily if we are going to have new math games in the math tubs. This excitement leads to learning!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • Everyone Can Learn!

    Funded Jan 25, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to fund this schoolwide project. It was our goal to boost students' self esteem and aid in a growth mindset across our school climate. We wanted to give students the understanding that learning is a process and that often times we do not have all the answers at first, and that is ok.

Being able to hand out bracelets and uplifting messages to our students have given them the mindset that it is ok to have to try something again. Students often become discouraged when they do not get the answer right away, we are trying to let them know that just because they did not get it right the first time that does not mean they have failed, it only means they have not learned the concept just yet.

With the items that you have helped supply our school, students will be uplifted and teachers will have resources available to them to provide many ideas on how to uplift our students. It is important to know that together we can achieve great things!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • Happy Holidays!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Keeping student attention the week before Christmas break has always been a challenge. With the items purchased through this project my students have had a focus this week. Students have really enjoyed crafting and creating gifts for family members with the kits provided through your generous donations.

The activities that students have had a chance to participate in at school have been enjoyable and fun. Through these projects students have worked together to create art and they have learned to help one another along the way.

I truly wish to give my utmost thanks to those of you who have helped us out with this project! I am so excited for students to take their creations home and share them with family and friends!”

  • Summer Send Off!

    Funded May 3, 2022

Let's just say that the words, "Best Day Ever!" Were spoken more than once today! Our students absolutely loved the fun day activities. I know we gave them a summer send off that they will never forget!

Thank you all so much for allowing this special day to happen for our kiddos! All of the water activities were a big hit! The smiles on faces were very evident and easy to see, they were definitely not in short supply today.

Once again a HUGE thank you to those of you who continually support our classroom in all the fun, crazy activities that we participate in throughout the year that makes it a memorable experience for our students!”

  • Time to Recharge!

    Funded Mar 13, 2022

Thank you so much for contributing to this project! My students were so excited to have new colored pencils to finish the year and we have been able to enjoy snacks on several afternoons so far. It has been amazing to see how just a little pick me up energizes the students and allows them to refocus their attention back to work. We have benchmark testing approaching in the next few weeks and the snacks will definitely come in handy as a recharge for students during breaks time. It is with the support from individuals such as you that allow our students to benefit from such neat projects, thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

  • Soft Seats

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Although our soft seat cushions were not available for our desks when our materials were ordered, we were able to get some much needed items for our classroom as replacement items. The students were a little bummed that we were not able to get the soft seats but they are very excited about our new pencil sharpener that we so desperately needed.

It actually takes a lot of things to keep a classroom up and running on a day to day basis, and thanks to our continous supporters our classroom and students has all the necessary items to do this!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ray

I teach 2nd graders who are eager and willing to try new, exciting experiences. I teach at a public school in a very rural area. The students love to learn and they love to explore new things. I have an array of learners in my class, some are hands on learners, while others are auditory and still others are visual learners. It is my goal to reach each and every student and allow them to learn the same materials but in their own way.
