I teach Kindergarten at a public school located on an U.S. Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Our school serves the students of those who serve our country and we are proud to do so! Our students have one or both parents in the military and sometimes they only have one parent at home due to deployments and training. These children have to move every two three years, so they are constantly starting over with new friends, teachers, and communities. In the last three years, our school expanded to a K-8 school so we can accommodate the needs of our students and their families. Our school has limited funding for basic supplies and zero funding for new technology.

About my class
