I team teach fifty first graders in a dual language program who are excited to play the role of scientists in and outside the classroom! Over 70% of my first graders qualify for the free/reduced-price lunch program. Half of my students are English Language Learners and half are Spanish Language Learners. Over 60% of my students qualify for Title I reading and math assistance. One percent qualifies for special education instruction.
