  • Tasty Treats for Tutorials

    Funded Apr 13, 2023

Wow! Thanks to you, my students now have the availability of healthy snacks to help manage their hunger and boost nutrition. Many of my students arrive late, so they are unable to eat breakfast at school. I also have students that stay afterschool for intervention. You have provided these children with many healthy options to snack on. Thank you for answering my call to help the children and being there for us with your kind donation. We can keep working without missing a beat when we have the right food choices in the classroom! We know you could have picked any class, but you picked us and we thank you!”

  • Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Card

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

This gift card has given me the opportunity to purchase fun supplemental lessons for my amazing students! This project has given me a vast amount of options for selecting different projects to meet the needs of all my students.

Your donation has allowed me to receive materials that cover so many different and enriching areas in Language Arts and Social Studies that will enhance my students' learning. They love to see and interact with all the lessons available to them.

I think the most exciting product we worked on so far this year, was the Greek Mythology supplement that was purchased to support a drama unit. The students enjoyed reading about the various Greek myths, and were inspired to read books about these myths on their own.

The children recognize the value of your alliance, and are forever thankful for improving their education. They said, "We are so lucky you picked us to give to, you could have given the donation to anyone, but you picked us!" No better or truer words have been spoken!"”

  • In the Need for Ink

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

You have made so many tasks easier for my students and me. Thanks to you, my students now have the availability of classroom tools to help them have a smooth learning experience.

My students are so excited about being able to print colored materials for class projects and presentations. Students that were once reluctant to do class presentations, due to not having access to a printer, are now eager to add graphic features to their work! You have made a tremendous impact on their learning.

Thank you for answering my call to help the children, and being there for us with your kind donation. May your good deeds be returned to you times a million!”

  • A Set Up for Success!

    Funded Sep 26, 2021

Thank you so much for the organization materials that you donated to my classroom. My students were so excited to see the interlocking tilt storage compartments, the bamboo rotating pencil holders and the art supplies storage units. Now, my students have a more efficient and organized Writing Center. It has been such a motivating factor for my students working in the center because all the supplies are handy. They are thrilled to be able to find the writing utensils and office supplies needed to complete class projects and assignments. Thank you for joining me in the work of making the biggest difference with my children. I am grateful for your partnership.”

  • We're Crafty!

    Funded Aug 29, 2021

Extreme excitement!!! That was the reaction my students had when they saw all the fun and colorful crafts/stickers that you donated to our classroom. You should have heard the, "Oohs and aahs." They were so thrilled to see all of the supplies that you helped donate to our classroom. If you had seen their reaction, it would have brought a big smile to your face.

My students have personalized their writing composition notebooks and they look amazing! They are so proud of their notebooks and no one has misplaced them. In all the materials that were donated, there seemed to be something to represent everyone. My students that love nature used the camping/fishing paper and stickers to decorate their notebooks. The Bigfoot and unicorn stickers were the most popular choices for the children.

The students use the stickers to help illustrate their writing entries and they are a real motivator for those reluctant writers. You made a great impact with my young students, and I am forever grateful. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity.”

  • Sharp as a Tack!

    Funded Jul 29, 2021

Thank you so much for the pencil sharpeners that you donated to my classroom. You cannot believe what a game changer the sharpener that is specifically designed for colored pencils has been. My students were so impressed with the colored sharpener for a number of reasons. My students have been working on a Social Studies project. Many of the students are using colored pencils to illustrate their work. The pencils wear down rather quickly. The wax of the colored pencils break off in a traditional sharpener and it takes some time to fish out the wax. Now, my students are able to sharpen their colored pencils without having them break off in the sharpener. The other high powered sharpener that is designed for regular pencils is very efficient. It sharpens pencils in about three seconds. These sharpeners have really saved us a lot of time!

My students and I appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity very much. You made a great impact with my young students, and I am forever grateful.”

  • Wowing with Writing!

    Funded Jun 23, 2021

The essentials are essential! You have met the needs for our classroom, and I am so happy that you picked my project! When school started, my students were so excited to see that they had their own composition notebooks and a variety of writing utensils. They were even more excited to learn that the supplies were donated to our classroom. That made my students feel extra special.

The student have been using the Prismacolor pencils to work on Social Studies projects and to show their creative side of writing and drawing with our Idiom project. Thank you for joining me in the work of making the biggest difference with my children. I am grateful for your generosity.”

  • Printer Needed for Paper-Based and Virtual Learning

    Funded May 4, 2021

An amazing moment for me has been the ability to create and instantly share with my students the activities I have created for them. My class is back to working and learning from a typical brick and mortar school. If needed, my students all are able to have the social studies and language arts notes I create in class. This especially comes in handy for those students that work a little slower than others; furthermore, I can quickly copy notes for the students that are absent.

When I first saw that my new project was funded, I became so excited because I knew my students were going to be thrilled to see my class notes come alive with color!

With my new printer, I am able to create and work on new class notes, charts, and mini anchor charts that are child friendly, bright, and interesting to engage with.

I truly cannot express how much of an impact your donation has made in my classroom. Every time I use the printer/copier, I am reminded of your generosity. I extremely thankful for your support. You have truly made my year and I will never forget that!”

  • Charge It!

    Funded Jan 25, 2021

Thank you so much for the laptop and tablet/phone charging stations. They have really been useful tools in my classroom. Not only do they keep all my students' devices charged and ready for the day, they charge the devices extremely fast! They are sturdy enough to charge multiple devices at once and organize the wires, so there is no mess or tangles. Word has gone around campus about how quickly the devices are charged and my classroom is now the "Charging Hub" for students in other grade levels that arrive to school with a low battery charge. You really have made a tremendous impact on our school community.

Thanks to your generous donation, the students on campus are ready and able to attend our TEAMS meetings, work on assignments and submit their work electronically to their teachers. My students and I appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity very much. Thanks again for these useful stations. We are fortunate to have them in our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

  • Teacher in Need of Updated Tech

    Funded Jan 15, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to my project. With my new laptop I am now able to connect with my students for our hybrid classes with ease. I am no longer dealing with delays or lagging issues with our school's learning apps and that is a wonderful thing!

The HP Elitebook has allowed me to be more creative with lesson planning. It really is incredible to be able to create and deliver my lessons with continuity. I am now able to embed history videos and audio files into my PowerPoint slides. My students were so impressed by that!

With half of my class being virtual. I am having to rely heavily on technology now more than ever. I am more confident with my lesson delivery and student engagement has increased significantly!

Though this has been a very challenging school year, your generosity and kindness has helped to make this year a lot easier and I am truly grateful for that. My students and I appreciate your support very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stott

Through games, students can learn a variety of skills such as critical thinking, communicating, teamwork, listening, and good sportsmanship. The "Lunch Bunch" is a group of students that come to our classroom during their lunch period to not only eat, but to interact and play games too. Students that demonstrate positive attitudes, perseverance, a good work ethic, and kindness towards others are invited to attend the Lunch Bunch for that week. Lunch Bunch attendance is high. The students do not want to miss the opportunity to play card or board games with their peers in our classroom, so we need a variety of games! I chose the Operation and Battleship games because some of the students have difficulty with fine motor skills, such as writing and using scissors. These two games encourage the students to practice the pincer grasp to pick up small objects. I want to continue to encourage the students that their positive actions will be rewarded with a unique lunch time learning experience. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve a variety of skills, you will also help motivate positive interactions between the students and their peers.
