  • Chromebooks to Create 21st Century Learners

    My students and I are so thankful for your generous donation. With your donation we were able to receive three new Chromebooks in our classroom. The students absolutely love computer time and are always so excited when they are able to use them.

    Our classroom computers are mainly used during rotations to provide students with small group instruction. Technology is a great tool because students love it and are able to use it independently. During computer time students are able to use the Chromebooks to practice typing, math skills, and reading comprehension.

    Receiving these Chromebooks has helped my class in many ways. I am able to provide students with more support and programs to benefit their learning. Students are allowed more time on the computers to work on these programs. I know that using these Chromebooks will continue to help my students and ensure that they are being provided with more support for learning.”

  • iPads for the Classroom!

    My students have been so excited about using the iPads ever since they received them. They think of any excuse to use them! The students love being able to take them to their desks.

    Thanks to your generous donations, my students have been able to use the iPads for many academic programs. The students mainly use them to take quizzes on Accelerated Reader. In addition to that, they love watching BrainPop videos. Another one of their favorite uses is going onto thesaurus.com. They find looking up synonyms and antonyms so interesting!

    The iPads have been a great supplemental resource for my students and me. Coworkers give me tips about useful applications and it has been so easy to download them onto the iPad so my students can have access to them. The academic support has been so fun for my students' learning because the iPads are extremely engaging.”

  • P.E. Equipment

    My students and I can not express how grateful we are to now have P.E. equipment for our class to use. My students would as me everyday about equipment for them to play with. The day I was able to finally share the exciting news of the donation, my students could hardly wait to use the equipment. The students were eager to use them everyday.

    The students use the equipment everyday during recess and lunch recess. They also use them when I take them out to P.E. The girls love to jump rope together and the boys love to play dodgeball.

    When the students take the equipment out during recess and lunch recess, they are free to play anything they want. When I take them out for P.E., they need to have organization with what they are playing. This has helped me to teach the meaning of teamwork and how to support each other. I am so thankful that you have helped me to get their hearts pumping!”
