This year I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful kindergarten 12:1:1 which is a classroom that consists of 12 students with learning/physical disabilities, one teacher and one paraprofessional. My students attend a public school in New York City and are rambunctious, full of energy and eager to learn in a multimodal environment! Each day my students enter the classroom with an innate curiosity and enthusiasm to embark on a journey of learning. However, they are unaware of the challenges that they face and expect nothing but the highest quality of education from me.
