    This classroom project was brought to life by Kleenex Brand and one other donor.
These books will help to educate my students about different cultures within their community and also teach them how to be socially responsible. These texts will be used as our mentor texts in the areas of social emotional and culturally diverse studies. These texts will be used to engage students in deeper conversations around the topic of race. Scholars will be able to see how they are similar or different to the characters in the texts. Students learning how to respect differences and acceptances through reading exposure is a way to introduce students to different worlds.

About my class
