Funded Sep 3, 2021I hope all is well. Class 403 use the shields daily to safely interact with their peers during peer reading, group discussions and partner work. The scholars were so excited when they first seen the sneeze guards. The scholars and their parents were thankful for us thinking about their child's safety.
In addition, looking a head my scholars will be safely interacting in more hands on projects. Instead of simply listening to a teacher lecture about a given subject, the scholars engages with the subject matter to solve a problem or create something. hands-on learning brings so many benefits to my scholars, including:
-It is a more engaging way to learn
-It can lead to increased retention
-It can offer practice in problem solving and critical thinking
- It often results in a physical creation
We would continue to think outside the box to elevate the curriculum for our scholars.
We thank you for your support. Please take a minute to look at the pictures of our safe learning environment that you helped make happen.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Richards
