Thank you so much for your donation toward my classroom project. I have definitely seen more excitement during our Friday group days when the kids rotate between stations with the materials you helped to provide.
We use the Q-Bitz games and flashcards weekly. The kids like challenging each other with the Q-Bitz games to see who can complete the patterns first. The flashcards are really helping them to achieve better on our daily timed tests. They have created their own games using the flashcards to help them study. The books that were provided have helped me to individualize review lessons for those who need a little extra help.
I foresee many fun days with classes now and in the future. Thank you for seeing the possibilities these materials can create for my students.”

Because students walk into our classrooms at varying ability levels, we NEED to be able to differentiate time with the teacher in small groups. In order to do this, the other students in the classroom need to have something to work on that isn't just "paperwork." I have chosen puzzles, flash cards, and several math games that can be played singly, with a partner, or in stations rotations. Students LOVE playing games, and I love watching them "do math" and enjoying it. These games can be adapted to all levels of students that come my way, those that are behind, on level, or above level. Mixed groupings of students can work together, which gives lower students good roll models in math and higher students a chance to work with others.
