My 7 and 8 year old students are learning to love reading, at least most of them. Some students still need help building self confidence and finding books that appeal to them. They enjoy many fictional books, but nonfiction books are fairly new to them. Some students may find out that they now love nonfiction because they are able to understand it. They are sponges at this age and I would like them to absorb all genres.
