My students are the most wonderful group of kids. I teach 6th grade at a school in California that is 80% free or reduced lunch. The students I teach do not have much, but when they come to my classroom each day, they have nothing but beautiful smiles on their faces. We have really created such a close family in our classroom and learned that if you work hard, you can achieve anything. Some are very bright, yet some need a lot of help, but they work hard to achieve their goals and are very proud of themselves when they succeed. They are very responsible and understand the value of honesty. My students immediately tell me the truth when they make a bad choice, and we talk about it one time and it never happens again. I am molding productive, successful members of society and can see them taking shape already.
