Help me give my students the opportunity to learn how the earth works in our day to day lives by using the science kids to analyze samples such as water and soil. Students will also learn the ecosystem.

  • Future Innovators

    Funded Mar 15, 2022

Thank you again for supporting my students in their journey through learning. The resources are used to provide hands-on activities while gaining an understanding of how things work. We were studying how much water is on the earth while trying to find ways we can gain more pottable water for human consumption.

The students reaction was priceless as they saw the title on the box. Many questions were generated such as "What are we going to do?", "How are we using the materials?" and "I wonder what is in the box?" As we started use the materials, it was as if a switch had been flipped. Dialogue among each other started to flow and they were able to collaborate without any arguments. The ideas that were shared made me proud to just see how happy they were to do the activity.

Next steps for my students is to continue to provide more collaborative activities that will allow them to be critical thinkers on how they can improve the earth for future generations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wright
