The Simple Bare Necessities!
Funded May 24, 2022These wonderful resources came in handy on the first day of school. The binders were the first to be used. I was shocked when almost all of my students did not know how to open the three rings in the binder. I was immediately grateful for the donations because at that moment, I didn't realize how little they had.
The resources were brought out a little at a time. They were surprised and impressed with the binders. They loved the dry erase pockets and markers. They loved how they were able to pick a color other than black. I think the buzzers were a favorite. When having quizzes or discussions, they love pushing the buzzer instead of raising their hands.
All the resources were so impactful especially at the beginning of the school year. Students were set up and ready to learn with all the resources they needed. The projector helped me reach them at a different level and helped some students see better. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness! We appreciate it so much!”

Funded May 20, 2022Thank you, thank you, thank you! My kiddos are having so much fun using these centers! These math learning games are used primarily during small group instruction, where they can work in small groups. Everything is set up so easily that after one time explaining how to use the centers, they were able to handle them independently the next day!
When I first showed them all the wonderful games we had received, their first reaction was "WOW!" They especially loved the ATM! I loved seeing how excited they were to open them and play! Not only are these fun, but they also target skills they need to build from counting and adding to multiplying and dividing.
I have students in 4th grade that are still learning to add numbers. These centers allow them to practice these skills daily, while they are still being taught grade-level skills. Thank you once again for making learning fun!”

Funded May 20, 2022First and foremost, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Through your generosity you were able to help my students. The Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift cards allowed me to reach my students at their varying levels. The resources on this site are never ending and allow me to teach concepts in new and engaging ways.
The resources I am looking for the most are reading resources. I have some students, in the same grade level, that are working on letter recognition, while others are learning comprehension skills and strategies. It is very difficult to use the resources I have in the classroom to meet their needs while engaging them. Through TPT, I can target specific skills in small group settings. With engaging and leveled activities, students have no problem working independently or with a group.
My struggling readers have especially benefitted from these resources. I was able to find worksheet and games that target their needs making them feel successful because they are actually able to do the work. Thank you for making this possible. You have put a smile on many faces this year so far. You are very much appreciated!”

Funded Dec 11, 2013I wish I could have taken a picture of their faces when I first brought the laptop to class. The looks on their faces was priceless! They love to use computers, just like most kids. My students were so excited to get it, and so was I.
I was excited because I was finally able to catch up with my assessments. I was able to assess my students so I could more easily target their areas of need. My students were able to play "games" which helped them with important reading skills and strategies. They also have an opportunity to practice navigating a computer and gives them a chance to use technology and become accustomed to it.
This project is giving my students the opportunity to use technology that most people take for granted. This technology has given me the opportunity to boost my teaching in a variety of ways. Students can practice skills learned in class through a variety of games. I can bring concepts to life through the use of videos and images. Students can research various topics. They can also practice basic skills on the computer such as typing and navigating the Internet. Finally, I can assess, assess, assess! This will allow me to keep my instruction goals focused and on task.
Thank you for your generosity and continued support!”

Special Kids Need Special Supplies!
Funded May 16, 2012Thank you so much for your generosity. With your help, I am able to better assist my students so that they may be able to do everyday things like write on a line and organize materials. These things may seem obvious to most people but my students need assistance to complete these tasks. Your donation made this possible and accessible. It's kind acts such as yours that gives hope to teachers and encourages us to find ways to make learning fun, accessible, and creative. Thank you again for your kindness. We appreciate it so much!”

It's a Colorful World, Let's See It!
Funded Jan 31, 2012This is just a small token of my gratitude. Your generous donation has not only made learning much brighter but also easier for students with visual impairments. The color printer has not only allowed me to print out learning aides in color but also has allowed student projects to come to life. They are excited to print out pictures they need and love getting printouts in color. They are very enthusiastic! Who knew a color printer could do all this! Well, without your generosity, I would not have been able to accomplish this. You have made my classroom a happier place. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you again!”

Funded May 2, 2008Thank you so much. This will make a big difference in the way my students learn. With this wonderful technology they will be more engaged and amazed at how things can be displayed visually. I can already
imagine the different ways we can use this projector in the classroom and how students can use it as well. Once again thank you for your kindness and generosity. Words cannot describe how I am feeling”
