My school is located in Miami, Florida. We are a Title One school, and almost 95% of the students are on free or reduced lunch. More than 60% of our students speak another language other than English at home. This school year our school is supported by the Education Transformation Office of our district because of our 'D' grade. For our students, school provides the structure, and balance between hard work and fun. Unfortunately, some of students do not have computers at home. Even though our textbooks are on line most students are unable to take advantage of this resource at home. The neighborhood library which served as the place where most students completed their on-line assignments has recently relocated. The students enjoy working with technology, and the the math and science programs would strengthen their math fluency skills, and science concepts.
