Help 3K Print Signs
Funded Nov 22, 2019On behalf of the Richmond Pre-K Center at Richmond Avenue, I would like to thank you for your donation. Your donation will help me to teach my Physical Education class to over one hundred 3K students. We currently have eight 3K classes and should be expanding next year to include Pre-K classes.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, which is a reason why I wanted to be able to print for Physical Education class. The printer, ink, and paper will help me create activities and games with visuals to help students understand and practice gross and fine motor development.
My program appreciates your generosity, and is grateful for your support.
Thank you once again.”

Mr. Pecora
Pre-K Learns to Ride a Bike
Funded Oct 25, 2018On behalf of the Richmond Pre-K Center at Forest Avenue, I would like to thank you for your contribution to my project. Your financial support helps us to continue in our Physical Education mission and to assist those in our school community.
The generous support of individuals like you makes it possible for our school to help students in the areas of Physical Education that teach gross motor skills and practice. These skills are important for students to learn at an early age as they grow to become more physically active.
Thank you again for your support!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. My appreciation is so great for those who have the ability to help and make a difference in the lives of children. My students are already using the materials that we were able to get from your donation to learn the game of soccer and the skills needed to be successful.
I am now able to plan lessons knowing that I have enough equipment for all the students in my class. My Pre-K students are now able to trap, pass, and kick the balls at goals and to each other. We are working towards putting all of our skills towards game play and hopefully by the end of the unit we will have several mini-games set up in our playground.
Thank you again, and please know that your impact will have an effect on the lives of my students who are loving the game of soccer.”

Your generosity will directly benefit 80-90 students and their physical development. Our unique Physical Education program utilizes movement, balance, and coordination in different areas of gross motor and loco-motor development.
Your donation will benefit the development of my students and help to create a positive learning environment for the physical development of students ages 3-5.
Again, thanks so much for all you've done for .”

Funded Feb 9, 2017Thank you so much for your donation to my project. My students were so excited to have the goals to use for our soccer unit and the smaller nets for our scooter hockey unit. We are using the goals to work on our striking skills using a manipulative (small hockey stick), and the bigger nets for kicking. The nets give us an opportunity to aim and use objects as goalies.
My students reaction was priceless when I introduced the pop-up nets to them. Some students have played soccer before and loved the bag that the net came in, when the net popped open, they were so excited for the opportunity to use the nets with soccer balls.
My students will continue to learn soccer skills utilizing the nets through game play and drills. My hope is that we can have a soccer game complete with goalies at the end of the unit. The smaller nets will be used for our scooter hockey activities, giving students an opportunity to use motor skills and striking skills in combination to play.
Thank you again, your help is appreciated.”

Trikes for Pre-K
Funded May 18, 2016Thank you donors for all of your support.
Upon arrival of the tricycles and after I put them all together, my students have been having a lot of fun riding them around the playground, gymnasium and hallways of our school. We have incorporated them into our physical education program where students have a choice during playtime to choose among various playground equipment, scooter, and our tricycles.
My students are enjoying using the tricycles in outdoors in playground. Your help has allowed students to develop gross motor skills while having fun. As a physical education teacher, it is one of my goals to have students learn and have fun to ensure a lifetime of physical activity enjoyment.”

Physical Education, Trying To Bring Out The Best In All
Funded Sep 5, 2013On behalf of Manhattan Business Academy, I would like to thank you for your contribution of the Sony X-PLOD radio. Your financial support helps us continue in our mission and the assist those in our community.
Thank you so much for your contribution, it really helped us to reach our fitness goals. The radio was a big help to our classes and all of my students were able to complete fitness testing using it. It is usually the little things that help out the most, and this was a great example of one of those things. I appreciate and am thankful for your generosity.
Your generous donation has helped my students and will continue to help students for years to come. Your willingness to help children in our community shows a lot about character.”
