Reading! Reading! Who Doesn’t Love To Read!
Funded Dec 3, 2019As a teacher for the past 28 years, I can honestly say that enjoying books and reading stories from a very early age is crucial in the development of children. It helps with their ability to understand words, use their imagination and develop their speech, as well as being something they really enjoy.
Teachers and parents play a huge part in the development of reading skills in young children. The more children experience books the more they will gain the interest and passion for them. Reading offers so much more than just quiet time in a cozy corner. It helps to develop spelling, listening, writing, literacy and social skills.
Young children need to be able to experience books; they need to be able to understand and enjoy stories, books, rhymes and songs and listen and respond to them with curiosity and enjoyment.
This will promote the value and pleasure of reading and encourage an interest in reading throughout school and in later life.
Even from a very young age child love books. It provides the opportunity to learn through touching and feeling different textures, along with experiences different actions.”

Funded Sep 15, 2019Thank you so much for selecting and funding my proposal, Germs Away. We can't fully express our joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. We just wanted to take this moment to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for all your support and help. These supplies will enable my children to have a clean and germ free environment with the products that were donated. They were so excited to see the wipes and couldn't wait to clean their tables. Which they will also use every time we do cookshop. You also know we could never have enough tissues or paper towels when you work with children. So these materials are in great demand and trust me when I say the kids are very grateful to you for making their year a better one.”
