Flexible seating is a new trend in the education world. Flexible seating helps students to feel more physically and emotionally comfortable. Research shows that when students are given a choice and control, they produce higher quality work. I have chosen bean bag chairs, floor seats, and ball seats. Everyone needs a comfortable place to read and let their imagination free with a good book. Flexible seating creates a more comfortable environment that enhances all learning styles. Most of my students, if given a choice, will pick a fiction book to read. I am looking to enhance my classroom library with new and engaging nonfiction books.
