Funded Aug 19, 2018Thank you so much for supporting our "Write, Write, Write" project! My students have been writing all day with our new supplies! We use the dry erase pens throughout the curriculum! Our Math lessons are so much more hands-on now since students can practice writing facts and showing their understanding of math concepts on white boards. We use our pens everyday at Reading Center time and also during independent work time. From Caterpillar to Butterfly!
Funded Jan 12, 2018Thank you so much for helping bring Science to life for my students. We have been observing the stages from Caterpillar to Butterfly for the past month. By having live caterpillars in our room, we were able to see the life cycle first hand. My students have been fascinated throughout this unit of study. When the butterflies began to emerge from the chrysalis stage this week, the excitement in my classroom was unbelievable! Because of your support I was able to engage my students in a hands on learning activity that they will remember forever. Thank you so much for supporting this project.”

My students have been having so much fun with our new P.E. equipment! We have been practicing catching and throwing, jumping rope, hopping and many other exercises! My students love being active and having new equipment makes it even more enjoyable for them.

Funded Mar 10, 2016Dear Donors,
We have been having so much fun planting our spring garden! Our Science unit has been brought to life! We have worked hard building our garden box, getting the soil ready for planting and finally planting marigolds, zinnias, snapdragons, verbena and sunflowers! Our garden has been growing for 7 weeks and we have observed and recorded incredible growth! We were also able to hatch butterflies from the caterpillar stage and release our 30 Painted Lady Butterflies into our garden! This project has been unbelievably exciting for my students. I can't thank you enough for your donations which have given my students such an enriching, hands on science experience. They talk about our garden and butterflies all day long!”

Language Learning
Funded Feb 17, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donation that has allowed me to continue to improve my Spanish language skills. Your kind donations allowed me to purchase the Rosetta Stone language program, which I am using daily! It is so important for me to be able to communicate with parents about their children's progress so I am working hard to improve my speaking and listening skills in Spanish. My students love to hear me speak in Spanish and this shows them how important communication skills are!
Thank you so much for supporting teachers in their Professional Development!”
