• 5th Grade Loves Reading

  I hope this note finds you well! I wanted to take a moment to share just how excited my students are about the wonderful new books that have been added to our classroom library, thanks to your generosity.

  As you know, many of our students love to read, and these new books have sparked even more enthusiasm. The excitement is palpable when students get the chance to explore new adventures, discover new worlds, and connect with characters who reflect their own experiences.

  Technology has become a big part of my classroom every day. With these technology supplies my students will be able to have more access to digital learning!

  The books that were also included in donation are books that will be favorites for many years. They are a great addition to our library.

  In 5th grade we begin writing essays, so anything that will get my students excited about writing is a must have.

  The writing manipulative will be very helpful with my future writing Lessons!!!

  Technology has become a big part of my classroom every day. With these headphones my students will be able to listen to all our digital learning programs! There are many programs that require students to be able to hear instructions. I feel that the headphones help each student in my classroom.

  Technology has become a big part of my classroom every day. With this printer my students will be able to print things they have written.

  In fourth grade students are required to write a one paragraph essay. But there are so many different uses that we can do with this printer. The printer will be used many times during the year to print essays and other papers that the students will create. They are a very excited! It will be a great addition to our classroom.

• The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Book Study

  We just received our books. We are very excited to unpack them and start reading! Not only will these books greatly impact my student's learning, but also my teaching.

  Most books in my classroom are used for my students to be able to read and test over. Each nine weeks, my students work toward a reading goal. As they are working for this goal, they are also building their fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I will use these books for teaching a thematic unit, where I will be able to teach about a particular topic and incorporate a literature piece.

  These books will not help these students, but future students to come.

• Reading Literacy Centers

  Thank you so much, we feel very blessed! I can tell you that my students love using the reading center supplies that you donated to our classroom. Not only will these supplies greatly impact my student's learning, but also my teaching.

  Each semester, my students work toward reading goals and meeting all their reading skills. As they are working for this goal, they are also building their fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I know that these tools will help my students to succeed.

• iPads For Learning!

  Funded Mar 27, 2018

  I am beyond excited about having these ipads to use in our classroom.

  I try to incorporate technology daily in my lessons. In the past, I have been limited to only that. With these ipads, my students will now have technology at any point during the day.

  My students will use them to go onto reading programs such as, Reading Eggs, Accelerated Reading, and other curriculum based programs.

  Without the use of these Ipads, my students would not be already excelling. Thank you so much for your generosity.”
