I Like to Move it...Move it!
Funded Feb 8, 2020Thank you for your generous donation to our class. Due to this, the students have been impacted greatly. They are energetic when they come to class and they all want to sit on the chairs during our center time. Today we had a few students with attention problems use them during an assessment and they were able to focus better on their test. having this selective seating available has helped the students concentrate on the important tasks in the classroom. Sometimes it is the small things like where to sit that are taken for granted and can make a big impact. Thank you!”

Learning All the Way!
Funded Dec 12, 2019Thank you for your contribution to our class. The items that were donated have helped many students in my second and third grade classroom. The Finding Text Evidence cards has been great practice for the third graders. They are getting ready to take their FSA, a state exam, in a few months. This practice can greatly help them achieve a grade level score.
The ink was a great addition to our class as well. With the ability to print from our classroom, we are able to differentiate lessons. Students can get worksheets that they need on the spot. Thank you for your generous donations!”

My second graders have begin using the phonics blocks to help improve their literacy. They are having a blast building words with specific sounds. My third graders are exited to read new stories in small groups and work on the strategies that they have learned. It gives them a creative way to show they have mastered the skills. Bronze, Silver, Chrome!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you for your generous donation to our class. My students have had the opportunity to have more laptops in the classroom to help further either education. My students are using the laptops to get on i-Ready, a district program aimed to helping students achieve grade level or beyond. Not only do they love using the laptops but they are enthusiastic about them. They race into the classroom to grab one and get started. It is a pleasure to see students want to learn and to strive to do it. Many students even come to class early just to use the laptops, since they do not have any at home. Thank you one again for making a difference in their education!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Paper Power!
Funded Mar 2, 2018Thank you for your donation to our class this school year. With your donation, our class was able to get copy paper as well as sheet protectors. These items are being used to make class centers. These centers allow students to practice and manipulate the skills taught for the week. Engaging students in learning is a sure way to make sure that the skill is not only taught but put into practice. Having this copy paper allows me to set these centers up. Having the sheet protectors allows us to use these centers continuously. Although your donation will definitely help my students, I am hoping to keep these materials for years to come, thus helping many others in the process. Thank you for your generous donation to our class.”

Gift us Ink and A Chrome Book Please!
Funded Mar 2, 2018Thank you for your donation to our class. Having a laptop in class allows one more student to reach his/her potential. Since everything has something to do with technology these days, a laptop goes a long way. Along with the laptop, your donation also gave us ink for our classroom printer. This ink allows me to differentiate lessons by printing different lesson plans according to what the student needs. Although this is something that is highly over looked, how can we teach to specific students if we don't have this ability? Your generosity has allowed me as a teacher to strengthen individual students and prepare them for tomorrow. They are excited to work on the new laptop and anxious to learn and get better at the skills that they need help on. With your assistance, this will be possible. Thank you once again. We are truly grateful.”

Healthy Kids = Happy Learning
Funded Mar 2, 2018Thank you for your donation to our class. Due to your generosity, we can have clean classrooms all year long. My students feel better knowing that they are less likely to come in contact with the flu virus in our class because we can keep it clean. Not only are the desks clean, but students can wash and wipe their hands when needed. Those that need tissue paper do not have to waste time going to the bathroom. They can simply take some from class. They are especially excited to have a snack once in a while in class. Especially on days that are hard for them to focus and make it through the day. They loved seeing all the boxes arrive for our class. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your contribution!”

Brain Snacks!!
Funded Feb 15, 2017Thank you for you generous donations. Due to these donations, my students have gone home with a daily snack. They have told me that they love the snacks and are not starving when they get home. This also allows less pressure on the parents who work full time jobs and then need to go home and cook.
Some students have also had some breakfast bars during the day. These go to students who were not able to have a good dinner or a good breakfast and are hungry throughout the day. When a student is hungry, the least of their worries are in their lessons. My students and I are very grateful for these donations and what they mean to our class.”
