I am an ESL teacher in a very high need, low socio-economic community. I teach English Language Learners, special education students and students who are over-age and have difficulty with reading and writing. These are students who need extra help due to language or learning difficulties and need scaffolding and a lot of modeling as well as encouragement.Many of these students have felt unsuccessful and need to be shown that they can touch the stars! We are a regular public school with a goal to become a 90, 90 ,90 school and to create life long learners!

About my class
