These materials will have a positive impact on the confidence students have in their abilities to create. Students will learn about engineering by using a soda can to build their own robots. They will also decorate and design a theme for their robots to show off their creativity. Combining art and technology will help students learn about ecology, design and engineering. My 6th grade students will learn how something as simple as a soda can be re-purposed while learning about robotics engineering. Students will have a renewed sense of pride hearing the cheers of their friends as we have our robots parade down the hall.
