  My students and I wanted to personally thank you for your generous donation of the storage containers for our math and science manipulatives. Being able to divide by category our math and science manipulatives assists students in finding the materials they need for DI or during hands on activities.

  These containers will not only protect our supplies, but will also help create an organized, distraction-free learning environment in our classroom.

  Your generosity has directly impacted our ability to maintain a well-organized space, ensuring that our students have the best possible setting for learning and creativity.”

  My students were delighted with joy when we received the storage containers.

  We were able to sort all math and science manipulatives by categories. During math and science, students complete hands-on activities to help them visualize and understand abstract math and science concepts. These activities can increase student engagement and motivation.

  By categorizing our manipulatives and placing them into containers, it facilitates our instruction and activities more at ease. Students know where to find manipulatives quickly when they are working in centers, small group instruction, and/or intervention.

• Technology For Our Classroom

  In behalf of my students and I, we wanted to thank you for your generosity and donation to our classroom project. Having access to powerful mobile devices and digital resources that are continually updated, students realize that learning doesn't stop with the last bell of the school day. The students become accustomed to learning being an integral part of all aspects of their lives, which establishes ongoing learning habits lasting long after graduation. In addition, technology empowers students to take control of their own learning. By providing students with tools to engage and create, as well as monitor their own progress, students are put in the driver's seat and become owners of the learning process.

  During the past few days, my students are eager to come to class to log on to educational programs that provide them with lessons on those skills that they are struggling with. Two days ago, they were able to log on and conduct research on a science topic that we are learning in class. Thank you for your support.”

• Aftermath of Hurricane Irma

  From the bottom of my heart, my students and I wanted to thank you for your gracious donation of a new Lap Top to our classroom. The addition of the computer into the classroom has helped transform the classroom experience from a classic teacher centered one into a student centered experience. The students are taking a more active role in their learning doing I-Ready, which is a program that pinpoints student needs down to the sub-skill level and ongoing progress monitoring of lessons shows whether students are on track to achieve end-of-year targets. It has also provided the class with an additional computer to target differentiated instruction in all levels. This week students were eager to log on to do research on a science lesson that we were conducting in class. During the past week, I have observed some students more engaged in their learning as a result of new technology.

  The students are excited to come to class every morning and see who is the first one to log on. Of course they don't want to use the old and slow computer that we have, they want to use the new one that you provided for our class. I cherish how they have shown more responsibility. I hear them whisper to each other to be gentle with the keyboard and to have their hands clean before using it.

• Technology for the 21st Century

  Thank you so much for your generosity in funding my project. Having an additional computer in the classroom will help support the curriculum we are learning. It has helped immensely for those students that do not have technology at home to complete I-Ready Math lessons or to do research for projects. Every morning, students rush in eagerly to log on and meet their weekly goal in I-Ready. Having an extra computer facilitates this process. Your donation makes a difference in the lives of these young children and their future.”
