I have a very diverse group of Kindergarten students in my classroom. They come to school from many different ethnic and socio-economic groups and with a wide a variety of experiences. However, all of my student have one thing in common; they love learning new things and having new experiences! With the students' diversity, comes a variety of learning levels. Some students are still learning the alphabet and how to write their names while others are reading books independently and writing their own short stories. To best serve each of my students, I understand the importance of small group work and teaching kids at their level. A kidney shape group table will give the students and I a place to meet and work in these small groups.
