Living In Color
Funded May 19, 2023Thank you so much for helping to fund my project. My students will be thrilled to hear the news.when the email arrived this morning. They have missed being able to print their class project images in color. Since our fairly new printer just went out. The cost to repair was more than a new one. I can't thank you enough for your generosity! I am extremely grateful, and my students are going to be very excited about Living in Color. Yipeeee!!!”

Funded May 20, 2020Sorry it has taken so long to show my gratitude for your support. First and foremost, securing a safe environment for my students will forever be a constant factor on my mind. Believe it or not, I have 21 face to face students and 20 virtual students. It has been exciting, frustrating, and on some occasions a total disaster.
The impact for my class, "No Paper" and teaching face to face is a challenge. Technology! Technology! has been the defining factor of our success. That's where your support has been a saving Grace. The Lenovo laptop and tablets, have been in use since day one. It's crazy! If a student (district supported) computer is down and need repair, the child is just left with nothing. Donors you made sure we had what we needed to keep going. Students have learned so many platforms, MS Teams, Near pod, Pear Deck, Presentations in Power Point, and the one I'm most impressed by Flip Grid.
This has been a hard year to teach. Technology can be a challenge or a tool. We have a tool. Thank you for your continued support.
Teachers are always”

Funded Oct 31, 2019On behalf of the Tech Warriors in Ms. Rodgers Class, I would like to thank you for your donation to our Class Project.
I have so much gratitude for the organization (Donors Choose) and its' donors. The epidemic has prevented my students from learning. They don't have access to libraries, most of the parents do not have wifi, nor do they have technology. The students are trying to work online from telephones; which are not equipped for online learning.
Thanks to our donors students are learning. I have realized no gift is to small, because to see the look on a child face when you give them the tools to learn, is priceless.
Again, we thank you for your generosity and continued support to children in need.”

Ms. Rodgers

Funded Sep 30, 2013My students were definitely surprised, when the camera came out of the box. K.E. (student) wanted to set up the camera and install the software. He had a small snag but eventually became successful. He has become so curious about things in science, especially if it can be magnified using the Moticam. After the installation the students waited in anticipation to view their first image. I wish you could have seen their faces, inspiration is the only word that fits. As they inspected small insects, leaves, and honeycomb left from a beehive, they discovered particles that's unseen by the naked eye. I now receive all types of insects (dead/alive), tree bark, collected balls of dust, finger nail tips and whatever they can imagine seeing through the camera. I am truly grateful that you have given me a tool to enhance my students' learning adventure. I appreciate you gift and you have given me inspiration to continue to teach for our future scientist of the next generation.”
