I have wonderful students who work hard everyday. Their passion for learning, community service and good citizenship is easy to see. However, when my students become interested or curious they are unstoppable! After last year's 4th and 5th grade school Battle of the Books Assembly my 3rd grade students begged for the next year's book list to be printed, immediately. The chatter began over recognized authors, titles and the need to obtain these books quickly. This love of reading, hunger for new literature and motivation is not something I can easily create but it is something I can promote and provide for as their teacher.
