Are we living in the age of the Flintstones? I think not! My school has an ethnically diverse student population located within a very tight knit school community. After teaching 4th grade for several years, I moved down to 2nd grade this past school year. I have realized that accompanying this grade change is the need for using more age appropriate materials for my 2nd graders.
