I teach first grade at a public International Baccalaureate magnet. My students are a very diverse group of learners from many different ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. I also have several special needs students in my class. We are a Title 1 school which means most of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. These are wonderful students who love school, love learning, and especially look forward to the reading workshop time that is scheduled everyday!
