  • Snacks and Drawstring Backpacks for Trips!

    Funded Feb 10, 2025

Thank you so much for donating to my project! We are so excited to receive the backpacks for our field trips! We have 4 trips planned so far, beginning in April. These backpacks will make it so much easier for the kids to carry their lunch. We are also thankful for the snacks! It will be great to take those along on the trips.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kober

  • Teachers Pay Teacher Gift Card for Literacy and Math Centers

    Funded Feb 7, 2025

Thank you so much for donating to my project! I am so excited to start downloading and printing literacy and math centers! The students will be happy to have new centers in the classroom during small group work.

I chose a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card because the centers are unique and are created by other teachers. They are better than simple store bought ones.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kober

  • Snacks, Hats & Gloves!

    Funded Jan 25, 2025

Thank you so much for donating to this project. Having snacks for the kids is essential for their learning. Just think of when you're hungry, you can't concentrate on what you're doing. By simply giving them something to eat, students can get what they need and then focus.

The hats and gloves are a necessity living in the North East. Five year olds are losing these items left and right, and it's great that I will be able to give them a new pair of gloves or warm hat.

    Thank you very much!”

    With gratitude,

  • Classroom Essentials To Get The Year Started!

    Funded Sep 4, 2024

Thank you so much for alll of the supplies for my students and classroom. We are so thankful to have the pencil cases to organize their materials and all the laminating pouches to preserve their work so they will have it forever.

This time of year is bad with cold and flu season, so we are grateful to have all of the tissues and clorox wipes for the classroom. It's a great help that you funded this project for these materials since we clean the tables multiple times a day and the kids are going through boxes of tissues! This stuff becomes expensive and I'm thankful for the donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kober

  • Fast and Updated Technology

    Funded Mar 10, 2024

Thank you so much for funding my project for the laptop! I am so excited to have an updated computer to use for school/work!

During school, after school, and on weekends, I am constantly doing work. I use the computer to plan lessons, write individual education plans, search for and create literacy and math centers, I search for materials to use in the classroom, create interactive lessons for the smart board to use daily, as well as many other tasks. These responsibilities require a computer, and it's frustrating when the computer is very slow and it takes a lot longer to complete tasks.”

  • Crayons To Support Creativity!

    Funded Jan 4, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to my project! We were so excited to receive new boxes of crayons!!! Each student got a fresh new pack of crayons for their individual pencil cases.

The students were very excited to get new crayons to use for all of their coloring. So many students were missing colors and had broken pieces. In kindergarten, students color at least twice a day. They are constantly going through crayons.

This was a great help! I have enough that I can replace students boxes for next year too as the year goes on.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kober

  • Center Games for Learning!

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Thank you again for donating to my project and funding my new center games! My students were so excited when I opened the boxes and took out the brand new centers. Their favorite is the "Counting Cones" ice cream game. In this center, students work in a small group and choose an ice cream cone with a number on it. They then have to add that number of scoops of ice cream to the top. Another center game that not only helps with counting, but also helps with fine motor skills, is "Nuts About Counting. In this center, students work in small group and hold a "screw" with a number on it. They then have to twist in that many "nuts" to go on the screw. "What's the Rhyme, Sorting House" is another game that is run by me, the teacher. I set up the little houses and hold up one of the cards, and students take turns saying the word and finding the matching rhyme. This has been used very often since rhyming needs to be practiced a lot. The Number and Alpha Bots, the students use during free centers. they love transforming the letters and numbers and then putting them back again.

All of these centers are so helpful in the classroom and make learning so much more fun!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Kober
