My students are absolute gems. I have the privilege of working with 5 of the coolest kids you will ever meet. The students I work with all have special learning needs and they are all living with autism. The students I work with truly give me a reason to get up and be excited to come to work everyday and I am convinced that my job is the most fun in the whole school. My students are all learning different things including how to use appropriate greetings, how to add/subtract or how to be an advocate for themselves. All of my students are a part of a new and innovative specialized inclusion program, which allows them to work within their general education classroom for a majority of the day. My classroom serves as a space for students to work on their individualized goals in academics, behavior, social/emotional, occupational therapy and speech.
