I teach 21 first grade students in a public and rural town in North Carolina. We are a Title 1 school which means we have more than 50% of students who are considered low economic. I am a teacher who is a strong believer on how reading should not only take place at school, but also at home. I currently send home nightly leveled reading books to students every night. The problem is, I share these with at least seven other teachers. At times, it is extremely hard to provide the correct level for a student if the book is not available.
