Morning Warm Ups for Kindergarteners!
Funded Nov 29, 2022I can't thank you enough for your support in my classroom. Your donation made possible for students to start the day reviewing skills as they have breakfast. A warm-up activity helps them ease into the classroom and the expectation of learning in a low-key way that isn't stressful. It helps my students with a chance to settle down into the class and get their minds focussed on the lesson ahead. They are enjoying completing the activities and sharing with their peers their independent accomplishments. I highly recommend to others to organically use these time of the day productively with a casual approach.”

Funded Aug 23, 2022I can not thank you enough for your support in my classroom. My students are taking advantage of the pocket charts around the class to practice reading and writing skills. They have been a fun and engaging way to initiate them in a cooperative community of learners. They have been great to practice concept of word, reading and literacy skills like:
Following text with a finger (or pointer)
Reading from left to right and top to bottom
Distinguishing print from pictures
Reading simple/familiar high-frequency words
Together we are making a difference in the life of these children!”

Four Plus Three Minus Two!
Funded Aug 9, 2022I can't thank you enough for helping me get quality materials for my class. The counters provide an experience for math that is fun and promotes collaboration and engagement. Math manipulatives are essential teaching tools. They transform the abstract language of math into something that kids can touch, see, and move around. The counters that we were able to obtain through you provides students the opportunity for hands-on activities that allow them to further explore abstract ideas or concepts, especially in math. Counters are an excellent tool that children can use in their attempts to master math skills including counting, adding, subtracting, making patterns and comparing numbers.”

Building Creative Minds in PreK4!
Funded May 18, 2022I can't thank you enough for the materials you donated to my classroom. These materials are allowing them to integrate art, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among other skills. Through play they are learning how magnets work and they are becoming curious of the uses of magnets in other items. They are learning about engineering and design by building creative structures and problem solving on how high they can go with them or how much weight their building can take. Based on these, they add and subtract which helps them learn concepts such as more and less, on and off, and size, colors and shapes. All these nurtured thanks to you. We would have not had access to these materials if it was not for you!”

Playdough is always exciting for our children specially when we can offer good quality playdough like the one that you allowed us to obtain. Students use it for molding uppercase and lowercase letters that they are learning. We can't thank you enough for what you have done for us!”
