My 4th grade students are a dynamic group of inquisitive children. Many of them have overcome personal hardships and various educational challenges. We learn and work in a Title 1 funded school in the state of Texas. Most of my students are struggling readers and writers. 99%receive free or reduced lunch. Many are considered at risk of future and/or continued academic failure. These amazing students are nurtured by many talented, caring, knowledgeable, and hard-working teachers, administrators, and support staff. It is our passion to develop life long learners, with highly developed critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

About my class
