Centers for Success in Middle School Math!
Funded Feb 19, 2025On behalf of our students and staff, I want to express my gratitude for your generous support of our middle school math centers. Your contribution is making a significant impact by providing engaging and hands-on learning opportunities that help our students deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
Thanks to your generosity, our students will have access to resources that make math more interactive, meaningful, and fun. These centers will foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in math skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. We truly appreciate your commitment to helping our students succeed. Thank you, Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Teacher Blake
We Value Place Value!
Funded Oct 26, 2021I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support. Thanks to your gift, our students have not only loved the math centers but have also shown remarkable growth in classroom engagement and assessments.
Incorporating these hands-on centers has reinvigorated my teaching, and our students are benefiting with improved focus, problem-solving skills, and higher grades. The interactive and competitive nature of the centers is challenging them to think critically while building both confidence and fluency in math.
Your generosity is truly making a difference in their learning journey. Thank you for believing in our students and helping to create an engaging and effective math experience!”

Funded Dec 4, 2019Thank you so much for your wonderful contributions of problem solving activities, journals, and tasks cards. We began doing some amazing work in small groups but was unable to complete the 2020 school year in the classroom due to the national pandemic. We were able to scan and send cards virtually to student throughout the 20/21 school year but it wasn't the same as having students interact and use the materials in class. I'm happy to say we are back in the classroom and our students have been using materials during whole group and small group instruction. We use the number talk daily activity center to create in-depth conversations around specific skills and subjects. Students are able to use erasable boards and we are able to easily clean daily (yay).
Our past students was extremely excited to use our new resources as they were all dry erase. All materials still look brand new and my current students believe it was purchase specifically for their class.
This school year, we hope to complete all activities even with our modified curriculum. These amazing problem solving activities will fill the many gaps caused by students being away from the classroom.”

Funded Dec 26, 2018Thank you for supporting my amazing fourth grade classes. All 53 students appreciate your wonderful gifts. Students are now able to move to small group spaces without having to drag heavy chairs across the room. Our new stools are light and easy to stack away creating more space for movement in our math class. Students often chooses to sit on stools instead of assigned chairs. These stools also allow students needing a quiet moment the chance to quickly and quietly create their own private work station. All math games received are being used in small group to support instruction or as an incentive/ reward for students completing assignments in a timely manner.
My students absolutely love the board games and all our new materials! Students were so surprised to open boxes containing all our new small group materials. It was amazing listening to students' explain to each other what the class would/ could do with the materials. Also, listening to one of my little 'bossy boots' tell her peers they are not allowed to destroy anything almost brought tears to my eyes. So far they've kept stools, laminator, and board games in amazing condition.
My students are currently working to complete projects for our annual STEM Fair. All the materials received are being use to aid students in creating these amazing project boards. Students have created slides on beautiful colored paper with laminated headings to have polished displays. These supplies have brought such renewed energy and excitement into our classroom.
Thanks again to everyone that donated to our class! We truly appreciate every single item.”

Funded Dec 29, 2016Thank You for such a generous gift! My students' are currently sitting for the PARCC Assessments. This is an eight-day test comprising of four 90 minutes reading section and four 60 minutes math sections. My students will complete all portions of testing on the computer using tools not utilized in our everyday instruction due to a lack of functioning technology. The gift you provided our class will aid in bridging this gap.
Over the past four months, we've used our tablets to take online quizzes, view educational videos, play math games and access practice versions of our state mandated tests. Today, my students are not limited by the unknown and feel comfort in navigating and manipulating tools found on their assessments. The scores for our PARCC Assessment will not be available until the fall but our iReady assessment taken in the month of March shows double digit gains in all math content standards.
The comfort at which my students completed all assessments over the past two months versus previous grades I've tested, shows the need for technology driven instruction that's embedded in students' daily lessons. My students are currently using the tablets to research and document their entry into our schools annual STEM fair. It's been amazing to see them exposed to contents beyond this grade level and subject area. Thank You!”
