  • Lots of Players, Not Enough Rackets

    Thank you for supporting our varsity and junior varsity badminton team. Our team has grown in size each year for the past five years. We now have over 40 players on our team. Many of our team members have never played badminton before high school, and several have not played at all before joining our team.

    Through your help, we were able to purchase several new rackets for our team. This season, every one of our players has a racket available for them to use as their own. This would not be possible without your generosity.”

  • Birdies and Grip for Badminton

    Thank you for your generous donations. With your support, we were able to receive many more birdies that we are able to use for a variety of training drills and practice. Also, we received a set of grip that allowed many of our players to start off their season with brand new racket handles that will help them while also minimizing injury.

    We are all excited to have your support and recognize that with your help we have been able to make sure we have ample equipment for our practices and games. Birdies will wear out relatively quickly and need continual replacement and can quickly add up in cost. With our limited budget, we are greatly appreciative of your support.”

  • Birdies and Nets for Badminton Team

    Thank you for supporting our badminton team and family. Last season we were able to utilize the badminton nets and birdies to upgrade our aged equipment. With our new equipment, we were able to showcase our gym during league finals and hold an exceptional high quality tournament.   • Calculators for Calculus

    Thank you for contributing to my project. With your help, my students now have regular access to the most advanced calculators available. We use the calculators in class on a daily basis and my AP Calculus BC students find the resource extremely helpful during class. With the technology, they are able to easily graph, derive, integrate, analyze, and evaluate rectangular and polar functions, parametric equations, and series.

    Through your contributions, my students are better able to prepare for their Advanced Placement Exams this May, and will potentially earn college credit for their work in calculus.”

Approximately half of my AP students are Latino or from other underrepresented minorities in advanced classes. They have challenged the traditional stereotype of who should strive to be a successful AP Calculus. Our badminton family is growing and needs support to provide and upgrade our equipment so that any student that wants to play can play.
